L'Ardille - Grandvillard 

The trail starts at the l'Ardille bus stop, point 1103. The path starts at the edge of the forest and climbs up to the Pâquier à Chevaux mountain pasture. The path leads to Grande Oudèche. Before the chalet, the path climbs towards the Tissivina mountain pasture. From here, the path descends steeply through the forest to the 1396 marker above La Curarda. At the fork in the road, take the path towards the Porcheresse valley and the Col de Bounavaletta. At the pass, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Vanils range. The path then descends through scree and pastureland to the Bounavaux hut (CAS Gruyère), where you can stop for a snack. After the hut, the path leads gently down through the maples overlooking Lac de la Coudré and its turquoise waters. Once past the Baudes car park, the route follows the road for a while. The path continues along the Rio des Marais stream until it joins the Sassalâ road. Finally, you reach the village of Grandvillard, an open-air museum of Gruyère's built heritage.
