Why a bus route?
This project, the result of a collaboration between the Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut Regional Nature Park, the Bus Alpin Association, the municipality of Val-de-Charmey, the Canton of Fribourg, and the Fribourg Public Transport (TPF), is part of a broader initiative led by the Park with the main objective of decarbonizing mobility needs for residents, commuters, and tourists. Several lines of action are being implemented and/or studied, including: enhancing public transport services, car-sharing, promoting soft mobility, carpooling, and organized hitchhiking.
